Some time ago I had joined the Columbia House DVD club. Upon satifsying my obligation I cancelled my account. Soon after I started receiving DVD's on old TV shows which I would immediately return unopened/return/refused. I then started getting bills saying I owed for these DVD's. When I was finally able to cancel this so-called membership of which I never agreed to join, I then received a statement saying I owed money because I didn't fulfill my "purchase agreement". I have just received another bill saying that if I do not pay this amount then I will be reported to a consumer reporting service. I feel I am being "forced" to pay this amount thru deceit and trickery on Columbia House's part to prevent a black mark on my credit report. I am at this point open to any and all suggetions. Thank You.
