Back in August I took a sales training class with Auto Max Recruiting held at Bergenfield Nissan by the Gelmac Auto Group.
I was informed I had to pay for the training in the amount of $500 but that would be refunded after 90 days of work.
I informed my trainer Dave Peascheck about my past history and some trouble I was in and he told me not to worry and he would get me a job.
After training he informed me that I would not be getting a job with the Gelmac Autogroup but told me he would find me a job somewhere.
After trying to contact him for weeks he finally has his secretary email me. (not even him) and send him a list of dealerships I would like to work at. I then did this and another week later they informed nobody was hiring. They said send another list and I did so. (mean while this is like a month since i took the class and paid the money) They had an interview set up for me at ramsey chrysler jeep where I was told I could not work there due to my troubled past.
I have not heard from them since. I have made several attempts to contact them. I would like my money back since all they gave was a lousy certificate and a deep resentment.
I have since taken another training class from TK Worldwide in which my Trainer Ray was excellent and now I am happily working at Stadium Automall in Rutherford
This guy Dave bamboozled me and ripped me off. I dont not appreciate being taken advantage of. Do not use Auto Max
