It's amazing how much my experience mirrors those of the other people who got ripped off: On 27 November two young men appeared on my door selling subscriptions to earns points for a trip to London to do create an interview that would be on BBC.
I have done this before with other school kids (but different company) and have received the product - not this time.
I got the same story about the mother who used to live down the road and walked the dog etc. I even got a hug, but I did not get the subsciption to Nickelodeon for my kids. The boy gave his name as Quinton Robinson - if that's his real name, I will track him down.
It's a shame as there are legitimate programs for stuff like this, but I am not ever going to contribute again - one scumbag ruins it for a lot of good kids.
