Coach Handbag Fraud Ripoff

I purchased a Coach purse and wallet from Luxury of King for my wife for Christmas. Upon opening the purse she immediately knew it was a fraud. I on the other hand like any guy was clueless. I have included my email transactions with Luxury of King.

EMAIL:
I understand that you disclosed that there were minor imperfections with the purses however what was not disclosed is that the purses are not authentic. The problem I have is the fact that these purses are not defective, they are replicas. I appreciate the fact that you are willing to allow me to keep the purse and refund a portion of the money but I would rather return the purse and wallet and have a complete refund. If this can not be accomplished please contact me at (859) 3198319, as I will be sending the purse and wallet to you tomorrow December 28. Again I have not intention of pursuing this issue any further if my money is refunded in full. Thank you for your quick response.

Sincerely,
Aaron XXXXXXX

Our bags are defective and were disclosed to you that way. We are having problems with our vendor and have taken our inventory off until we resolve the issue. We are willing to let you keep the purse and refund a portion of your money back, if you would like.

I recently purchased my wife a black, "Coach" hampton's signature medium handbag and black, "Coach" wallet for Christmas from your website. Your website states, and I quote, "We are a selected few companies who have the authorization to sell Seconds." Your website also states, "This merchandise has differences and imperfections that cannot be sold by the retail locations." Your website also goes on to define seconds as a list of imperfections. Again I quote, "The Following is a list of some "Second Imperfections". Each item may contain one or more of the these "imperfections"

Loose Stitches
Mis-aligned Creed with serial #
Non aligned buckle snap
Misprint on the stamp." End of quote.

This information says nothing about the merchandise being replicas or copies of the authentic brands. It misleads by ensuring that the product being purchased is such a good deal because of a minor flaw or defect. Obviously to a guy who knows nothing of purses or handbags didn't sound like much of a big deal. However to someone like my wife who is aware of such things as the handbag's metal not being stamped with "Coach", the serial number being wrong, the purse not having YKK zippers, the C's not lining up on the seams, etc., it was blatantly obvious that what I thought was a good deal on a "Coach" handbag was actually a bad deal on a replica. To say the least my wife was very upset with her Christmas present and I felt like I had been taken. Therefore, I will be returning the handbag and wallet to your company. I have also read your return policy and I am aware of your restocking fee, however I am asking you to waive the restocking fee, overlook the days allowed for return, and credit the full amount of $264.00 back to my credit card ($234.00 purchase, $30.00 shipping). I feel this is only fair. I have contacted "Coach" and I was informed that they do not authorize any company or business to sell "seconds." Nor were they aware of your website or the fact that you were selling their merchandise or copies of their merchandise. They also informed me that any use of their name or any product that replicates their merchandise with the intent to mislead or deceive is a violation of copyright laws and that they would be interested in me filing a report with Coach's counterfeit division of their law department (1-800-396-1807) who were prompt and gracious in emailing me the forms on which to file the report. They also stated that this covers all internet retailers and ebayers as well. Now I am willing to write this off as a misunderstanding and not pursue it any further if the full amount is credited back to my credit card. If not I will be forced to file a full report with "Coach" as well as a complaint with the better business bureau. I really think it would be beneficial if your internet site clarified that the products you are selling are not authentic merchandise. I would greatly appreciate a call from your company within the next 48 hours to verify that you received this email. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
