During the course of my employment with the before mentioned company I had an rather eventfull experence with the Co-Owner Mrs. Mary Andrus. First some history, Andrus does not or perhaps they do now, use direct deposit, they mail there payroll out on a Friday for payday on a Monday.
Now the tale, my wife contacted me one Tuesday complaning that our payroll check had not arrived, I contacted my dispatcher and he informed me that Mary Andrus or as she is affectionately known, Queen Mary, was out of the office for the day. I called on Wednesday and was informed she was out for the day.
Of course this did not go over with my wife very well so I contacted my dispatcher again and he offered my an advance of $100.00, the max amount at that time he was authorized. My wife was livid now since she had bills to pay and $100.00 was, you know the story.
Anyway on Thursdsay i finally got a hold of the infamous Queen Mary and asked where my check for last week was, she casually explaned that she had left it on her desk. When asked why? She got annoyed with my insolence, and in a huff replyed, she forgot!
Talk about arrogant! Hell she didn't even apologize, her attitude was like, take a minute and get over it! My wife and I never felt so dismissed, like we were the serving minions.
