I applied for the Continental Finance Mastercard, was approved and they said I will receive the card in 7-10 days, the next week I got a statement for payment of $50 due 10/13/06. I never got the card. I called them and told them I didn't receive the card but I did get a bill, they said I need to report the card lost and they didn't address the part about why I got a bill before I got the card and activated it.
I reported the card lost, I did receive a card and the next week I got a letter and a call stating I was over my limit $241.00. I told them yall got to be on something else because the card is not activated so how did I go over the limit, the guy said let me get my supervisor, he came to the phone and said to call them the next day and they would straighten it out.
I called back, this person said you went over your limit, I said lookd, I don't know what's wrong with you people but it is serious. After I read her, she said give us 24hrs, so I waited aboutd 4 days, same thing with the next person, she said you're over your limit, I said I am not over my limit, the card is not even activated so how did I get over the limit, she put on hold she came back to the phone and she said call back in 24 hrs, I told her I have been told that twice already, she then said it will be taken care of I promise you, I gave it to my supervisor. Well I haven't called them back.
Something is definitely wrong with this picture.
