CIC Triple Advantage
Ripoff, dishonest, fraudulent billing

I signed up to get a free credit report from Equifax, TransUnion & Experian, which was provided for me. I cancelled, online.

I was paying off a large amount on a VISA credit card, and thought that the CIC*Triple Advantage charge was for something else that was automatically charged to this card.in January I called VISA, and they told me that CIC was charging me since July.

I never authorized a $12.95 per month deduction from my credit card account. CIC*Triple Advantage was charging me for nothing. I never received any further newsletters or emails.

I called the credit card company, and they said that they would credit my account going back to November. I also wrote to them, to affirm this, and to put the account into dispute. I just got a response from the credit card company saying that they are crediting me for one month, which I am now disputing.

I have now written to Experian, because it appears that CIC*Triple Advantage is connected to Experian. This is a real scam, but even more so if it is connected to a major credit reporting service.
