I did machine work for this company. I shipped good parts and after a year of attempting to get paid. I am taking him to small claims court. I did the same machined part several times for them and each time I shipped good parts. I included a few bad set up parts so they could do their next process on a free part first rather than messing up a good part. Bbut I sent the set up parts at no cost.
The last time I did this job, he asked me to buy the aluminum to make them, which I did. I sent him 44 good parts. He never paid. Six month later he said that the parts I sent were no good. Finally after a year he sent me 22 parts back that I had sent him as free set up parts on the many times I made this part and said that they were what i sent him in the 44 part shipment.
Now he won't pay. He has also sent bad checks in the past, and then later a good check but wouldn't pay the charge my bank charges me for depositing a bad check! When I called for payments that were way overdue in the past, he would say he was sending a check on friday. Friday would wind up being a month or two later. Now he's buying from another shop and I'm sure is going to rip them off some time in the future.
Small machine shops beware.
