My boyfriend has a timeshare in Daytona Beach, Florida, week 9, Bike Week in the Americano Beach Resort. The resort is falling apart and they are taking everything away that they first offered like the restaurant and the bar.
Anyway, we decided to sell and have been contacted by several companies. The company we settled with was Global Timeshare for $850 and a promise that they will sell it!
The Global representative Paul said he had 12 people interested before we even agreed to it, my boyfriend fell for it.
It has been 2 months and nothing. They won't even answer when you call them.
I am hoping our bad experience can help someone else. Don't purchase a timeshare with the hopes that you will make more money reselling. You'll be lucky to even get your money back.
Looks like we are stuck with it and out $850!
