I took my sister to this apartment complex to apply ofr housing. She didnt tell them that she was in the middle of getting evicted from her present Landlord. The rental office assistant was very pushy about getting the app fee and the deposit.
After my sister had given all her and her son's personal information, she decided to cancel and was told when she gave the deposit to them she would get back if she cancelled within 24hrs or if declined.
Well she cancelled the next day and was told also that her application was delcined becasue of the current evitcion. Because of all the work the office girls had to do on her application they would be keeping her deposit in return.
I placed a complaint on BBB and apartment complex manager called my sister and said they would issue a refund and askd that she come to office to pick up, well that was a lie.instead they stole all identy.
Do not give these people your deposit, you'll never see it again if your rental application is declined. They will find some way to keep it. And if you file a BBB complaint they will retialiate by stealing your ssn# and personal info and open credit card and loan accounts. Or even change your disablity check deposite information with SOC SEC adminstration. This is what the office girls did to my sister.
