U.M. A - t.S. I ripoff are nothing but scam artist

After getting laid off from work, I came home tired and started to look on the net for a new job. A few minutes later at 10:30am, I get a phone call from a she was talking about. She started to ask me, we know the credit card you use, but what credit card company is giving you the best satisfaction? Is it Visa, Discovery or Master card (Of course she is trying to find out which card I use the most so they can take everything) But anyway, She starts telling me that I am involved in a contest in which I can win $25,000 and a BMW sports car. MMMM I thought about it, I was a bit worried, but I just lost my job, so I went for it. After she verified my First and Last name, she verified my address. I even corrected her on my address info because they had it wrong. (I'm so stupid) I asked her if I have to provide any credit card information, and she said no.

After she verified my address and name, she started to talk to me about 4 magazines that I would be recieving for free. I was like, wow!!! Thats great. Then, Ms. Evant tells me that this is only for 6 months, and then I will have to pay $3.84 a week. I was like, ok, fine, go head. While she was putting me in her computer system, I asked her, what is your address and number? Then she tells me, this is not the center company and I don't have the number because this is not the main buisness that has that information.in my head I am saying " she does not know the number? Thats like not knowing the number to your brothers house even though you own a buisness with him " I get suspicious and I continue my conversation with Ms. Evant. After everything was confirmed, she said I will be recieving a diamond watch, I was like great, how many k's, she says, I don't know. (LOL), ooookkkk.

Finally, Ms. Evant tells me that she has to transfer me to her supervisor to confirm the order. The supervisor pops on the phone by the name of Mitch. Mitch says, You know what, I will add 2 more magazines, Times Magazine and ESPN, I was like sure thanks. Now at this point, I already know something is up and in my head I tell myself, you might know my name and address, but you sure don't know my credit info. Mitch sounded like a deep voice radio host who also does commercials for t.V. Anyway, Mitch starts to ask me for my credit card number. Keep in mind, I had my credit card ready a long time ago when Ms. Evant called me because I was ready to order. Mitch tells me sir, please provide me with your card info so I can process these orders for you. I told him, your going to have to call me back because, due to the fact that Ms. Evant told me that I don't have to provide my credit card number, I didn't bother to look for it, but it does not matter now because I left my credit card info in my locker room in school. When he herd that, all I herd was click... Mitch hung up on me.

In conclusion, I hope they call me, because I can't wait to atleast record their phone conversation and get more info so I can maby one day process this to someone who might actually do something about it.
