Ripoff Not reporting ontime payments and charging late fee

For the second month in a row, Capital One has failed to post my ELECTRONIC payments from my bank to my credit account with them. They pulled this same thing last month and I was able to get them to waive the fee. This month, they did it again and refused to waive the false 'late fee'. I checked with my bank to make sure that the funds were sent and they told me that the electronic process is instant and that they were sent at 6am on the due date. They also informed me that the funds were in Capital One's possession since that time. When I called Capital One, they don't give you an option to speak to a customer service rep and the only way that you CAN speak to one is to select the 'Pay by phone' option, which they want to charge you $10 to use. After i spoke to the useless customer service rep, I sent Capital One a certified letter and filed a complaint with the FTC as well as with my state attorney general's office. This is outrageous and needs to be stopped. Because of CapitalOne, I have a derogatory mark on my credit report from another card that they kept piling on late fee after late fee until the $148 balance owed is now $890.
