In June I received a call from a girl representing "Capital One Financial" telling me that the only way to improve and restore my credit is for them to receive $200- (in order to increase the "Capital One" card limit) but I would get it back after I made an "x" dollar amount of purchases. She made me listen to a recording explaining the use of the card and I pressed a # on the dial pad for the option to return to speaking with the representative if I had any questions-which I did - I specifically asked if it was a "Visa" card-she said "Yes".
Approximately 3 months later, they sent me a letter, 2 catalogs and a card (without the Visa emblem). It took many calls and days to get a hold of them to complain-and when I did, they said to write a letter explaining the reasons why they should give me back my money! I notarized and made copies of my letter.
Since October I've been calling to ask why my refund was taking so long and the lines have been, and still are busy. Just today (02/12/06) I was reviewing my bank account, and surprisingly, my account is overdrawn - they have taken money from my account without my authorization! HELP!
