Children and Youth removed my niece, nephews and my son from our home saying that the place we lived in was too small for us. They tried to say that my other sister and her son moved in with us and that was the reason that they had taken them away (too many people in the house). They all had beds of their own to sleep on. They were well taken care of, they rarely had scrapes or bruises on them, and they always had food to eat.
During the time that we had the children we were looking for a place but could not get anyone to rent to us. CYS thought that we wasn't looking and when we told them that we was they didn't believe us. My sisters caseworker even had the nerve to tell me that if they had money to help us that it would go to her (this is when I had called her to see if they could help us to get money for the security deposit for a 4 bedroom house).
Since the children have been removed from the house, my niece has had bruises on her arm, she would only tell us that she ran into something.
