Telephone Scam: Inform all employees who answer the phone never to give out information such as model number of your printers and copiers over the phone. The company you purchased your equipment from will already know this information. When in doubt just tell them your really busy right now and ask them for their phone number so you can call them back. They always hang up.
We have a new receptionist who was not familiar with this type of scam and provided "Kevin" with the model of our copier. A few days later we received two toner cartridges delivered by UPS. As soon as I opened it I knew what had happened so I explained the scam to her so hopefully we won't get ripped off again. It was not her fault. We had failed to make her aware of the scam. The Invoice only had minimal information on it and had no dollar amount at all.
We called the phone number on the invoice and got a "Customer Service" message line. No way to talk to anyone but we left a couple messages (just in case they actually returns calls (ha! Ha! Ha!) I searched the internet for other addresses and phone numbers. Here's the address the Los Angeles Yellow Pages has listed:

Phone number listed: 866-331-1166 (so far this line is always busy)
We never ordered the toner and we are sending it back (to the listed address not the one of the bill). I hope it will stop here and they will not continue sending products. If you receive a package from UPS from ProCopy refuse the package and they will "return to sender" and you won't get stuck paying the freight to return something you never ordered.
