These people need to be out of business. They go by almost five different names and do not attempt to operate and communicate professionally and honestly.

This builder signed an agreement to make specified replacement to property that was damaged prior to closing on this property. My Complaint is to state that there are major issues with their warranty and its procedure but more importantly, my situtation is described below.

Myself and this builder signed an agreement stating that replacement and installation is to take place 30 days after closing on the home.

The replacement in question is a window in the unfinished basement. The closing date of the home 11/1. December 1 came and the agreement had not been honored.

I contacted the builder's office in reference to the situation. The response was that the replacement parts window is a discontinued window that the builder no longer used and it would take some time to locate another one of exact make and model.

I gave the builder some more time and contacted them again in February. Again the response was the same in that the replacement window is a discontinued product.

In April still no information from the builder about the status on when I could expect the window to be replaced.By this time I've filed my 2-month warranty paperwork. Someone from the office visited my home and called the office to inquire about the status about the window replacement. This rep. Was basically given the same response. It is now July 17.

About 8 months since closing on the home. And as of the three weeks. This office has not returned my phone calls. At this point it is apparent that they won't be able to obtain an exact replacment and need to satisfy the agreement.

They can do this by contracting it, using Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, or any other home improvement retailer. I do not have to have an exact match so long as the installation and workmanship is acceptable.

I've given these people a check for six figures and have joined the club nationwide of consumers who have become victimized by the ever powerful unscrupulous builder.

My real estate agent will be assisting me with a resolve, and I will update as things develop.
