Ripoff I bought an item at 1 Foleys and returned it 30 minuted later with receipt and they would not give me a full refund on an unused pair of shoes and then would not let me just take the shoes home and was rude and nasty as well

I purchased a pair of boots at Christmas time for my nieghbor at Lakeline Mall. I dropped by to show them to her and she informed me that was the wrong pair. I then proceeded to Highland Mall Foley's, as it was closer and proceeded to return it.

The shoe clerk (who was not even busy, like that would excuse his behavior anyhow) was sooo rude and insulting I still shake when I recap it.

I presented him with my receipt and unworn shoes for a refund to my Foley's card. After he fumbled and acted completely incompetent and rude, he informed me that the other store had given me the wrong copy of the receipt. They gave me the copy you sign—not my fault—and it still contained all the information detailing my puchase amount, etc.

He FINALLY gave me a refund slip, but when I looked at it, I realized it was not for the same amount (it was $10.00 less that what I paid 30 minutes ago). When I politely asked about it, he snapped, that was all I got because I had the wrong receipt.

After we had discussion, my infant had gotten fussy from being stationary at the shoe counter, for going on 20 minutes now, I asked for my receipt and shoes back and I would deal with the original store.

He refused!!! I requested a manager, no one ever came.in utter belief at how I was being treated—I again requested my paperwork and picked up the box of shoes. He refused to give me a bag or the receipt and informed me that he wsa going to report me to loss prevention???

I finally went upstairs to customer service, had them dispacth a mananger, how corrected the matter, but didn't seem very shocked at the clerk's behavior or that sorry that I had been put through this.

You have to watch this store. They will take every dime they can and ruin your evening while doing so. Please read my other report on their blatant disregard for the federal fdcpa laws in their collection practices and how they handled that complaint.
