For the past couple years, the companies listed above, in one form or another, all have said attmepted to send unauthorized shipments of creit card paper and credit card supplies to one of my retail locations.
I am the only person who is authorized to make purchase decisions in my company. Furthermore, we are part of a franchise, and we get all of our supplies from our franchisor - not from outside vendors.
However, these companies (Commercial Paper being the most recent), have tried to send shipments to one of my locations. All but one was refused. The one was accepted by a new employee who was not aware of the issue. We attempted to send the unopened shipment back, but the company refused it.
They have been sending invoices to this particular location for months. Since I do all of the purchasing, all "approved" invoices are sent to my office, not to individual stores.
We have contected them by phone and by mail refuting these shipments and have instructed them to cease contact with our company and our stores. Even still, they continue to attempt to call this individual location and get them to verbally accept an order over the phone. Even though the manager refuses, they still tell her they are sending out another shipment.
The "shipment" includes 12 rolls of credit card paper (which can be purchased at an office supply store for about $12) and a card to clean the credit card swipe (which can be purchased for about $2). The total invoice is $180.00.
It seems that all these companies are connected somehow, because after months of dealing with one company, they stop contacting us, and the next company takes over.
