First National Grants called me the first time on 4/27/05 at 10:00 pm telling me that I will receive $12,500 and all I need to do is verify my information.
I agree because I know this is a rip off because they have called me in the past under a different name "Grants For Less" and they have my bank information (closed acct). When the recording says to confirm that I will pay $29.95 and can then apply for a grant I said no and hung up. Before I did that I told the man that it was late and he had no business calling me at 10 pm.
Today 4/28/05 I get another call from the same company trying to convince me that I will receive $15,500 in my bank account tomorrow but I need to verify the information. I asked for their website (which I could not locate) and told him to call me back in 15 minutes. I found this website instead and when he called me back I told him what it said and to not call me anymore. I am sure they will try again. The phone number that appears on my cell phone indicates it is coming from Ohio but when I try to return the call it cannot be placed.
This company has never called me before but they have all of my bank information and address. So I believe there are several companies involved in the rip off.
