Josh Martin is a loser to the nth degree. He is the non-supporting father of three great kids. First he has been in jail for theft and of all thing firearms. His belated grandfather told him to get married and "make it look like you are cleaning up your act and your sentence will be reduced" and he did that and he only had to serve about 4 mths!!!
He then gets his wife pregnant and gets a girlfriend "Nikki" while working at Microdevices in London, KY (his only real job that I know of). When he was confronted with this he denied it (of course). His mother, and I will be kind by not printing her name here, talked his wife into taking him back and she did.
About about a month later he was leaving the house to go God only knows where when she said I'll go with you and tried to get in the car and he drove off with her hanging out the door and her 8 months pregnant. Her parents both died during this time and felt she had nowhere to go and continued to stay with him. Even with a felony conviction, he was able to stay in the Kentucky National Guard (don't know how he managed that, but he did). He was called away to guard duty in Belgium and later returned to the United States where he was to spend a few months at Fort Stewart, Georgia until he could return home. He re-enlisted in the Army and decided to stay in Georgia where he made no home previsions for his wife and 3 children. They lived with his parents in Kentucky. He told her there was no housing available on the army base where he was stationed. But, he got himself an apartment that noone found out about until he had been there for several months. The reason being he was living with his girlfriend we'll call "Miss Kim" who is a teacher with, I think the mentally handicapped.
When his wife found out about this she filed for divorce "Yeah your her!!!" while his mother kept saying please don't wait until he gets out of the army and try to work it out. Between me and whoever reads this how can you work out a problem like that when he isn't willing to give up his whoreing ways. She got the divorce finalized and he was, ordered by the court, to pay child support which he complains is too much and is now trying to have it lowered.
He can't afford to pay his child support but he can afford a lawyer to have it lowered. He says it is a "hardship" to come to Kentcky to see his kids on their birthdays or his court ordered visitations. Noone is stopping him from moving back to Kentucky.
His eldest child has now been diagnosed with asthma and alergies and can no longer be around animals of any type. Yet, the one time he has seen his kids in the last 3 months he brought his girlfriend "Miss Kim" and her dog in with him and his daughter started having breathing problems breathing Monday at school after their 2 day visitation was over. He really cares about his kids.
He accuses his ex-wife of lying about their daughter having any problems even though she goes once a week to have shots for these problems. And, he isn't even man enough to pay for that bill. My understanding is that a father is liable for any medical expenses for his children.
*A side note to "Miss Kim"... I know you are wanting to have a baby with this person please read this message and take it to heart he is not what you believe him to be it is to your advantage to get out now while the getting is good you have no strings at this time to hold you there. If you do marry and get pregnant by him I guess we will save you a seat in court for your divorce and child support hearings. They will be enevitable.
*A side note to the parents of this person. Before you get to heavily involved in this situation you should take a look around your own home.
