Ripoff, fraudulent bank withdrawals, dishonest about fees, took more money out of account than told about

This company called me on Feb. 11. After talking with my spouse and feeling uncomfortable with the whole deal I called to cancel within 48 hours after they called me so that I would not be debited or out any money. They have, so far, taken over $400 out of my checking account.

When we called to find out why they were still debiting my account after I had cancelled, they told my spouse and me that they had no cancellation record and that these fees were non-refundable.

My spouse works for a reputable in-bound customer service company (yes, there are a few reputable ones still out there). After talking with these people, my spouse told me that many federal laws were being broken.

Also told me that not a one of them was speaking English in the background. From my spouse's work in this type of field, we think they are in Pakistan, India, or Singapore. Those that we talked to we could barely understand.

When we listened to the verification tape there was no mention of many of the extra fees they have been charging me. That is also a violation of the law. There was no outside company verifier which I am told only the reputable companies will use. The verification tape was done by the same person I spoke with originally.

It is my opinion that these are thieves working out of a foreign country and they need to be stopped.

My bank advised me to close my account out and open a new one. We are also contacting the Attorney General in our state and possibly the U.S. Attorney General's office.

Every phone number anyone finds for this company will go to the exact same office. The supervisor there is supposedly named Engril. They are using American names, such as "Chester Lawrence".in other words, they are all using fictitious names.

We called three different phone numbers for this company trying to find someone in the U.S. That speaks clear English and we got the exact same office with the exact same supervisor at each number.

If anyone knows how to get the money recovered and stop these people I am interested.
