Not unlike others, I said okay to someone from Buyers Union regarding a $3.95 ach for movie tickets, and they wrote check #1 for $3.95, check #2 for $3.95 and check #3 for $19.90.
These were electronic debits from my checking account, but they typed up a check for Premier Benefits, Inc. To deposit in their account! My bank empathises but says they can do nothing, because they are not ACH withdrawals.
I called and spoke with Milan Col at Buyers Union who gave me a cancellatiion number and I am to fill out a form being sent in the mail and mail it to Premier.
If this happends, stop payment and change your account at the bank. I probably won't recover, but hope this prevents someone else from doing the same.
