They claim to be verifying account information to "cancel" a magazine subscription but are actually creating an account. We assumed (that's the first mistake) we were taking care of a problem (a subscription we never ordered) but inturn created one. Fraudulent billing! Rip-Off!
I noticed the bill on my bank statement and immediately called the company. They were less then helpful and kept repeating the same montra, over and over. I was told I had to send a letter to cancel (naturally) and they refused to help me any further. When I asked if I could record our converstation (a small legal issue) they declined and threatened to sue me if I did (interesting).
