This DEADBEAT loser refuses to pay child support while he lives in his parent's basement for FREE! Brian was in excess back child support for over $8,000.00.
He has NEVER held a job for longer than 2 months and that's pushing it! We once got into a fight before my daughter's first birthday because I asked him to buy her a winter coat. Considering I had supplied the ENTIRE winter wardrobe, shoes and hadn't received a dime in child support, I would think a $20.00 Walmart coat would be in his price range. When it was almost THANKSGIVING AND FREEZING outside and she still had no coat, I really lost it! Incase you're wondering why I didn't buy her the coat, I really didn't have much money. I was going to school full time and working part time and after rent, bills, child care and everything else, I could barely afford gas in my car to go back and forth to work/school/daycare. When I confronted him about it, he became very P'd off and kicked me across the room twice!
I had to call the police because after kicking me across the room (for no reason, other than he couldn't give me an explanation on still no coat), he decided I couldn't take the baby from his parents house. I had to go to school that morning and I couldn't afford the babysitter that week so he was doing me a WONDERFUL FAVOR FOR WATCHING HIS OWN DAUGHTER! After he kicked me across the room, I didn't feel that it was safe for my daughter to be there so I tried to leave there with her to have my dad watch her. I had to call the police to get her back. Thier answer was we each had our own rights to her and if I wanted her back, I could go hire an attorney to go to court and get custody of her.
I had to save my money for almost a year until I could afford one. I did it though and took him to court for custody and to get his child support raised. I know it sounds dumb to take him back to court to get more child support if he's not paying what he owes but the state of MO set the amount based on his income. Well, guess what? If you don't work, then OH you DON'T HAVE INCOME! WHAT A RIP OFF!
Anyway, I took him back to court and my lawyer had it raised almost double. Really the point of getting it raised was to have him in jail faster. I know/knew I would never see the money but my satisfaction would one day come. (him sitting in jail) He has been in jail 2 times in less than 4 months for non payment.
He just went to his last court date (finally) and told them he had no job, now keep in mind that his parents paid almost $6,000.00 to get him out of jail for not appearing to court the first two times so he shows up the 3rd time, (probably because his parents are tired of getting him out of jail and won't do it much longer) and says no job and guess what? THEY LET HIM WALK OUT!!!
Now since I took him to court, he still hasn't paid my court costs or attorney fees, owes HELLA money in child support and let him go. I have no idea where he is working and he hasn't contacted the kids in a year.
One time when he had our youngest daughter, he ran out of formula for her and didn't even call or bring her home. He let her go hungry because his parents were at Bingo and he couldn't get a hold of them for money or a vehicle. Now isn't that rediculous? I called in and hotlined his sorry butt, and the hotline said since he did bring her home eventually, and she was fed, there was nothing they could do about it.
Another time, he had the oldest daughter, she sprung her ankle and couldn't walk.instead of taking her to get medical attention, he just brought her home and said nothing. I called as soon as I seen she couldn't walk and he said she must have tripped over the cat. He didn't notice anything. The truth is, he is supposed to have medical insurance on her and he doesn't so he didn't get her proper care. I had to sit in the ER with her all night to make sure the * thing wasn't broke to only wake up late for school and work the next day while he snoozed in until 3pm.
I wish they would lock up the deadbeats that don't pay child support and who don't see thier kids (on thier free will) and throw away the * key.
I just don't know what needs to be done in order for the system to really jump thier @$ess? He has only been in trouble 2 times for the child support, only because I stayed on Child Support like flies on you-know-what and he can't be in trouble for child endangerment for not seeking medical attention or for not feeding them. I know if I didn't feed them or take them to the dr and someone called in on me, I would be in a world of trouble.
