I was contacted by this company CCA in Oct 04 and I was totally misled by their representitive. I was told this would look so good on my credit report and also receive a cash on demand card. (which sounded really good) They said I could do shop by catolog if I dont purchase anything... Nothing would be charged to my account... So that too sounded good. I spoke to a supervisor by the name of DAVID STAGNER ID#29140 and told him I did not want to pay any processing fees and he waived the fee. But a few months later I see that $100 was deducted from my account.
I never received the catolog they promised nor did I return any signed documents. Basiclly, I didnt receive any other paperwork from this company after they started deducting money from my account. As soon as I noticed the missing money I immediately called the # they had given 1800-642-1760 and I was on hold for about 35 minutes, then they said I had to call another number for customer service 800-760-4045 and no one answers this line. And of course they make you wait so long that you have no choice but to hangup and think to yourself. I'll try again tomorrow... Being that most people are at work and cant be on hold for a long period of time.
I even reported the first deduction to my bank and had the bank try to call and they were also left on hold for over 20mins. But still at that time, I dint think it was this bad of a scam. They seem to deduct your money over the weekend so you dont notice til its too late. Over the past 3 months they have deducted about $500 from my account. And they do it for the first to the third of the month... Which has made it difficult to pay my rent on time.
This company has caused me to be late on my rent and other bills. Im a single mother of 2 and I cant afford to keep having this company STEAL my money.
Today 2/7/05 I have closed my account (which is an inconvenience) and trying to work with the bank on getting back my money. Lets see how that works...
