Unnecessary hidden fees on a credit card that I paid for! The Original Credit Card the Capital One was an (UNSECURED), I opened with my funds $300.00.in order to collect funds owed on the first card Capital One transferred the balance to a new second card. Now they claim I owe $1,600 balance. I called/wrote Capital One and would be more then happy to settle the matter if they can produce an itemized statement showing me where I have charged $1,600. Have they done this? No! If I paid $300 for the credit card, do you the consumer that that they are going to let me charge up $1,600 in merchandise? I don't think so!
My intention at this point is to obtain proof make restitution on what I have spent and it wasn't much if I only and $300 to begin with.
Am I wrong for not paying the $1,600 which is only hidden fees and penalities? I do not want to pay any hidden fees and would assume that the finance charges could be reduced as well. I understand that their organization is in the business of making money, but I would like to think that as a customer interested in settling this account this agreement would be to both our advantage.
