Seller on e-bay. To start with, her auction listing was not accurate. After I bid on and won the auction, she tells me she only ships to "confirmed" addresses through PayPal. I don't have a confirmed address because I've been ripped off by Paypal previously and I refuse to put a credit card on file with them. The auction listing did not state "confirmed" addresses only. Although when I questioned the seller, she said it did. It absolutely did not. The seller would make no accommodations for me, basically said "sorry about your luck".
I was quite adamant I the listing was misleading and wanted her to make an exception, which she would not do. I informed her I was taking my time in sending payment since I would not use Paypal. She proceeded to file a nonpaying bidder notice on me with e-bay. I sent my payment, $44.00 — $34.00 for item and $10.00 for shipping — My check cleared her bank on Decemeber 17, and an e-mail from her at that time made it clear she was waiting a full 10 days for check to clear. I waited patiently until first week of January before e-mailing and asking where my item was. She explained they had been closed for the Holidays and obviously was in no hurry to get me my item.
On 01/08/05 an e-mail from the seller stated item was shipping that day, coming to Virginia from Texas. Well, here is is February 3rd and no merchandise and no explanation of ANYTHING. She did offer me a credit of only $34.00 for any of her other auctions but I have demanded a refund. Her auction listings currently say nothing about issuance of a credit only policy. She will not respond to e-mails and will not answer her telephone.
I should've known better, she runs in excess of 1,000 auctions at any given time on e-bay and her feedback is terrible. Beware — this is person is unreliable and, in my opinion, dishonest. She felt justified in issuing a nonpaying bidder notice on me but will not satisfy her responsibility. That tells me she thinks she is someone special. I'd be willing to bet a "special" Flordia "beat the system" scammer on the dole.
