Monday 5/14/07
At 11:50 pm Stood in the kieosk and filled out paper work for the hireing prosses...
Afterwards stood there waiting for customers
Around 12:20 pm Elizabeth asked me to take the deposit to the bank I asked what bank and what do I do Just told to take these 2 nights of money to the bank Sign the deposit slip and hand the teller at the bank the depost slip and get the reciept. I get back to the kieosk hand her the money bag and the 2 reciepts for faxing. Then stood there waiting for customers, while she eather talked on her phone or was messaging on her laptop.
Around 1:00 pm I asked if I may sit down and was told the cushion chair she had was for her laptop, said i could use the solid wooden stools. I asked if i may plug in my laptop so i could read up on the cingular site on phones, while she still sat there eather ph her phone or on her laptop.
Around 2:00 pm I asked about training on the pc or anything I might need to know and I was told I will be trained soon. So i stood up and waited for customers, shes still on her laptop.
2:17 pm I Picked up the area from trash and asked if i could take out the empty boxes that I was told that was sitting there for 3 days out, the trash and to have a quick smoke while taking out the trash she said yes, I left as she was still sitting there on her laptop.
Around 2:25 pm I walked back into the booth and Stood there waiting for customers
Around 2:35 someone bring Elizabeth lunch and she says i can go to lunch if i want, so i did and brought it back to the booth and ate lunch while reading up on the I Phone on the apple website, Elizabeth said she was still hungry and i couldn't stay in the booth by my self and I had to go with her and to leave my food there, we went to the pretzel place for 4 pretzels and a sweet tea, walking back she also wanted an Icecream in a cup, still walking back she had to stop and get an esspresso cold shake, I desided to get a Coffee as well, we get back to the booth about 10 minutes later.
Before i got to sit and finish my lunch she said for me to walk around because she had to go somewhere, so I walked around in Spencers watching for her to come back, finally I sat down out side the booth for about 20 minutes till she got back, and I got to finish my now cold lunch, after my lunch i threw all my trash away in the trash bag and picked up any mess i might have had. And stood up waiting for customers, I sat down here and there but waited for customers and answered questions best as i could.
Around 4:00 pm customers came up and baught upgrades and new plans, I asked about being trained on the PC while this was going on I was told I would be trained later so I watched, she worked so fast I couldn't keep up and it got confusing but still tried to keep up.
5:00 pm rolls around afew questions from customers I answered best to my knollage and the customer wanted to buy the sync and a 2 year plan from me, emedelatly Elizabeth stood up from her laptop and said i wasn't in the system yet and she'll help the customer, I asked if i could at least be trained on this for i would know how to do it, she said i will be trained soon, after thoes customers I waited for others or sat reading ther service and phone booklets, Dan calls sometime
around 5:40ish pm I think and asked Elizabeth how im doing I hear her say Im doing a great job.
Around 6:00 pm I asked if i could go and have a quick smoke Elizabeth said yes
About 6:09 pm I walked back into the booth and went back to reading, standing for customers or reading on the I phone on the apple website.
Around 8:30 pm I asked if i could go and have a quick smoke and more Coffee Elizabeth said yes
I came back to the booth about 8:45pm
9:00 pm the store closed Elizabeth counted the drawer asked me to lock up the cabanets and we left as walking out the door asked me to come in at 1 pm the next day...
Tuesday 5/15/07
12:44 pm I walk into the booth Dan and Elizabeth is there I talk with Dan and elizabeth for afew while getting cozy, I was sick from the night before aperiently from the cold/flu bug running around Dan asked if i was ok I told him I have a cold, he asked why im here and i said its because I need the money and I've never called out on a job and im not about to on the 2nd day, we talked for a while and Dan said he had to leave soon to go fire someone in another store for selling phones to cheap, after alittle chat Dan leaves sometime after 1:00 pm, I asked elizabeth about being trained today on the pc system and how to use the system, I was told I wasn't in the system yet so im unable to be shown at the moment, so i unpacked my laptop and started to get comforable, right after i got all cozy Elizabeth told me not to have any Messanger windows open when Dan or Danny is here because where not allowed to have them open, so I said ok I wont even have mine on I'll only use my laptop for finding info on phones or for transfering info, songs, pics, ect for customers (I have all the data cables for that), so I stood up and waited for customers, I waited, answered questions and helped customers the best I could.
About 1:30 pm customers came and did upgrades and Elizabeth did all the pc work I watch the best i could, I was asked to get the phone out of the boxget the simcards ready ect. While she did all the transactions and pc work, I tried to pay attention while transferring phone numbers from the old sim card to the new sim card, and trying to see how shes working the PC.
Around 2:30 pm while there where no customers I asked for a smoke break and if i can get a drink Elizabeth asked bme if i could get her a drink as well, so I did after my smoke I got back to the booth around 2:50ish, I started to feel worse from the cold sweats, the sniffles, coughs, and a headache, but still continued my work on helping customers.
3:00 pm Elizabeth said she has to use the restroom and i can stay here she'll be right back, while she was gone some customers came up and wanted to buy a cell phone case for there phone, so I looked and found one she wanted to buy it but i did not know how to sell it to her because I didn't know how to log into the system and where to go, I told the customer if she could wait a few minutes for my manager she will be back and that this was only my second day on the job, the customer asked me why i was left here not knowing what im doing and i had no answer for her, she said she didn't have time to wait around and left upset..
Around 3:30 pm Elizabeth came back, I told her what happened she told me not to worry about it, and so i went back to waiting for customers.
Around 4:00 pm Elizabeth told me I had my login code and cingularuniversity.com login info so i went to check it out but i wasn't in the system yet for the classes, so I went back to what I was doing, waiting for a customer
Around 5:00 pm I'm feeling really bad and my headache is worse now, I asked Elizabeth If i can use the restroom and have a smoke break real fast she said it was ok.
I was back at the booth about 5:15 pm and went back to feeling even worse and burning up but went back to my work, of trying to help customers, I did ask again now that i have my login information if i could learn the PC and how to check out customers and stuff and was told i'll be shown when a customer comes up and buys something.
Around 6:00 Elizabeth said she will be right back, so I sat there till about 7:00 pm by my self trying to help customers thankfully no one tried to buy anything, Elizabeth came back and had a bag from Regis's store she said she had to get a shampoo or a facial or somthing like that, She also tols me I had off wednesday and I'll be opening Thursday morning I said that cool who am I opening with she said by myself, I told her I have no experiance on anything and I dont even know how to log in she gave me her cell phone number and said if you need help on anything to call her. I asked her how do I log in? How do i check a customers account? What do i need to do if someone wants to open an account? How do I upgrade? She said for me to call her if i need help. And if i wanted to to come in on my day off to learn how to use the PC I asked if i be clocked in for that and i was told on the on the lines no because I would only be there for a couple of hrs.
Around 8:00 pm my head feels like its going to explode my nose is all stuffed up and i feel terrable a couple came up for add 3 razrs as an upgrade to there account and a girl that works at the coffee shop came up and wanted to put messageing to her account so she can sent text and pics to her friends, so while helping the other people she adds that to her account Elizabeth said it will work immedetly I said it will work in about 10 min because it has to filter through the system and send to the phone, Elizabeth said i was wrong,
the Girl tried it and nothing happened Elizabeth told the girl that her phone is broke and she has to upgrade and solf her a $50 Razr V3 with a $50 instant rebate which made it free the girl wanted a Pink one so I opened the box and the Razr was turned on and has scratches all over it, the girl did not what the phone now but will take a black on till a pink one comes in the girl also asked if she gets a free case because of the pick phone being messed up and all the hassle Elizabeth said surething.
While on hold with customer service Elizabeth hands me a cordless phone and tells me to ask for a deticated upgrade or something like that for the girl, the lady on the phone asked me for the store number and i had to ask Elizabeth she told me 19 next was my sales number or something like that I asked Elizabeth it was K29Z9912 so i told the lady on the phone that Elizabeth said no just the K29Z and gave me a look, the lady is asking me all these questions about the customer and i needed to get the zipcode and other info off the PC but Elizabeth is helping the other customer for the 3 Razrs and she closed out the other account, i told Elizabeth I need the info off the PC for her account and Elizabeth got upset with me and told me to just ask the girl for all the info so I did and its not her account and didn't know, Elizabeth told me to wait for a few minutes so now i have the customer service lady on the phone to hold while Elizabeth does the other account and pulls up the into i need, Finally after giving the IMEI no# and the SIM no# i got it all straighted out, it now been about 12 minutes after Elizabeth told the girl she needed a new phone she got a text message from her friend from the old phone the girl is happy now and there sending pics and meagges back and forth on the old phone but the girl now wants the free phone still so we continue with the new phone, I transfer the phone numbers to the new phone and give the girl her new phone and everything she needed.
We got the other couple done and everything else done I also get the Cases the couple wanted for them after they leave Elizabeth counts out the drawer and we leave at 11:00 pm
Wednesday 5/16/07
I had off I was so sick i couldn't get up and had my girlfriend over thats a CNA nurse me back to somewhat sane I called Elizabeth and said I was just to sick to stop by, she said its ok and for me to just call her when i get into work for the passcode for the alarm and she'll write down everything for me.
Thursday 5/17/07
8:00 am I get up and my Girlfriend is with me and also works for Cingular in the Port Orange Wallmart said its her day off from both jobs and said she'll ride with me and sit up and walk around and watch me and if i get a customer and she'll help me out if i need it.
9:00 am we get in the car and start Driving.
9:50 am i get to the mall and call Elizabeth for the alarm code she told me and i turn off the alarm I called Elizabeth and asked how i log in to the system to clock in after figureing out I clock in and unlock the cabanets.
From 10:05 am to 12:00 pm I got 1 phone call and no customers, I locked up the cabanetsand postes a be back in 5 minutes sign and went to the restroom and a quick smoke break I got back to the booth about 12:06.
From 12:06 pm to 2:00 pm i had about 4 phone calls for hrs or phone numbers for the corprate store I locked up again and put up a sign back in 5 min and went for a smoke break and a coffee, I was back in the booth about 2:12 pm, I tried to call Elizabeth because i was feeling so sick I for the 1st time I was needing to call out sick for the next day, but no answer on her phone so i sat there feeling terriable, around 2:46 pm Jessica showed up 1st thing out of her mouth and 1st time meeting was " im in a bad mood, don't talk to me, dont look at me, don't touch me" All i could say was sorry, I did tell her that I was sick and i have been watching what i touch and i have hand sterilizer so you wont get sick, and i've been trying to get ahold of Elizabethto see about calling out, Jessica told me that wont happen because she need tomarrow off to go get her nails done, hair done, somthing on the lines of that so no one came up and at 3:00 pm I clocked out and went home.
Before I went home I went to the Cingular Corp. Store and asked if theres a training coarse or someone i can talk to to show mw how to use the system because I worked for the Kieosk in the mall and i open tomarrow as well and i dont know how to do anything. I talked to a sales girl there that was working she said I quote " awww your working for Elizabeth" I said yes she said " I'm sorry, we are hireing here if you need a real job I've heard about Elizabeth and her ways of training you'll need to to come in next Thursday and I will see to it that you have a good well trained job but unfortunatly we dont having anything here for you for training unless you work for the Cingular Corp. I said thankyou and I left and went home..
About 6:00 pm i finally got ahold of Elizabeth and asked about getting friday off because of how sick i am she said she would call me back i about 5 minutes. 45 minutes later I got a call saying if i can open come in at 10:00 am and stay till 11:30 when Jessica comes in I said sure. Elizabeth said she'll turn the ararm off and open the booth all i need to do is sit there till Jessica shows up.
Friday 5/18/07
9:50 am I get to the booth and relize the alarm is off but everything is still locked so I walk over to Things to Remember and get the keys from Elizabeth to unlock the Drawer there the other keys are, after returning the keys I realized the cash in the cash drawer was never locked up I dont know how much is supossed to be in the drawer and figured Elizabeth already had it out for me, so before i did anything else i clocked in at 10:01 am and grabbed the keys up and unlocked the cabinets and got the booth ready and then waited for customers.
10:10 am a customer comes up asking for a $50 instant rebate he got in the mail I told him i wasn't sure and would have to call my manager I tried to call Elizabeth but it went straight to her voice mail I left a message, I tried to call Dans number that was writtin down on a card on the pen holder that number was disconnected, I tried Danny's Number that was on the same card and it was a dentists number the customer got upset because i couldn't give him an answer and i told him if he could eather come back around noon when the other girl come in that would know or to try the corp. Store out front, he was alittle upset but said he'll be back later.
About 12:00 pm I tried to call Elizabeth again but no answer so i locked up everything and walked over the things to remember where Elizabeth was working and told her Jessica wasn't there yet she said for me to wait alittle longer so i went back to the booth I then stood waiting for customers.
It's now 1:00 pm when another person came up a girl with 6 of her friends one was asking me wierd questions as the other 6 stood over on the otherside of the booth, I did cetch i trying to open the center cabanet to get a phone I told him that if hes not here for a question or help he need to please leave this area so he acted like he was going to walk off, I started to anwser this girls questions again this time where over by the deplay phones and shes asking about every phone there if they have bluetooth, mp3 player, ect. I noticed the group was now hovering over where the PC and the door is to the booth is now im trying to answer her questions and watch the group behind me another customer walked up and asked a questions and another customer walked up now i have 3 people asking questions the girl told me to take care of them she wanted to look at the Sync I helped both customers with there simple questions and got back to the girl she asked to see a blackberry pearl as i turned around the door was not open and a girl wasstanding by the printer I now ask the whole groupe to leave before i call security as i turn around again the other girl is now gone, I emediatly went over my the PC I noticed my bluetooth headset was gone and the money drawer was alittle open i had no idea how much was in the draw to begin with. And im starting to freak out.
Around 1:20 a customer came up and wanted to buy a car charger for his phone, I find the one he needs and tried to ring it up but I have no idea now to do it so i try to call Elizabeth again no answer, so i tried to figure it out and the customer and getting mad I told him this is only my 4th day and i have no idea how to ring this up he got so mad he said and I quote " what the fuck you here operating a booth and know how to do nothing what kind of fucking store is this that you dont know what the fuck your doing you know what fuck cingular this is fucking bullshit all i want is a fucking car charger and you cant even to that. Fuck this and go fuck your self with the shitty ass unprofesional service " and walked off. Now im depressed and feel like i cant do anything right.
I sit there for about 10 minutes trying to collect my thoughts i look at the clock its now 2:33 as im about to quit lock up and and tell Elizabeth you shove this job Jessica walks in she clocks in and says she has to run the deposit over and will be back in about 15 minutes then leaves.
It's now 3:15 pm when she returns Im trying to sell an upgrade to a customer and Jessica got kinda upset because I did eveything wrong i didn't do any forms right didn't know the pc system and messed up on everything and she had to show me. Finally after all that and the customer left, i try to tell her about my day I tell her about the drawer and what happened she said besides the $80 for the deposit she showed me in cash without a bag or a slip or anything rolled up in her pocket there should be $70 in the drawer there where only $26 in ones that was it. And im being told i better find it or im in trouble. I looked everywhere and found nothing. I walked over the things to be remembered where Elizabeth is and tried to explain all this to her and she told me shes busy at her job and to go back and wait, I go back and jessica now has an attitude and told me stratght up " i personally dont like you you are unprofesional and rude to me and the customers and Elizabeth will hear about this " i'm speachless im to sick and to pissed about the unprofeshional of everything here i mumbled fuck this, i clocked out and left...
I do not plan on going back till i talk with Dan or someone that can help me...
