Top-Siders continue to decline over the years. I have a pair in the garage that are 20 years old and still have a sole that grips the ground unlike the 8 month old pair now that it hard, slick and dangerous on a wooden floor in my house much less my boat. What has happened? I have scars from cheap eyelets that have bent or opened up on the inside of the shoe scrapping my other ankle. Again, poor quality. I have to find an alternative to Sperry Shoes.
