I went to Holloween city with my 6 yr old son to get him his holloween costume, he saw one he liked but I told him we should check out the other costume store down the street before buying that one. So we checked out the other store but didnt find any he liked so we went back to holloween city. I when in got my costume and went to the register I was getting my credit card out when I see the floor guy or assistant you the perdon who helps you find your sizes, well he comes with a little empty bag and tells the lady at is taking care of me that what ever is in the bag is missing and the next thing I know he tellsme to open my purse. I could not believe it I was in shock I said excuse me why would you thinkI would steel a 5 dollar toy or whatever was in there. I saw the price on the bag I asked to speak to the manager and to my surprise it was the lady that was at the register she went ahead and opened the costume to make sure I didn't but it in there so I wouldn't pay for it. I ask the guy why would I steel a 5 dolllar iteam when I'm spending over 50 dollars on a costume to then steel a 5 dollar toy. I showed my purse they checked the costume found nothing. He said I was in that area where the empty bag was found and I adked so you though it was me? He said yes I did. He didn't even think befor he answered. The manager offered me 20% of the costume I told them I would not be buying anything in there store the guy said okay and whent to spoke outside. No apologies no nothing. My 6 yr old asked why did they woukd think we would steel something, I started to cry out of anger. I was only in that section 2 seconds because we knew what costume we were getting and the aisle was a mess the costume all over the floor from the kids throwing them my son was picking them up and I told him just to leave them. I hate to say it but I was the only Hispanic person in the store at the time, everyone else was white, in the same section longer then my son and I but yet I was the one they thought took the toy. If they would had gone about it in a different way I would not had been so upset but when he looked right at my face and said open your purse I know u took this I just can't belive its 2013 and this still happens...
