My daughter was in her way on a LDS mission to Australia and In her way she stop at the Angeles, Airport, couldn't get a phone card so she decided to phone collect we spoke for over just over an hour was she waited for her plane to go. My surprise today when I got the bill. I call my telephone company because they are doing the charge and they told me to call the 866-340-4990 phone to see if they can help to reduce that outrageous costly bill. They told me that Immediately when you make a collect call you have a fee of about $15.00 and 1.99 a minute. The call was from Los Angeles to Alberta Canada. I normally pay about $0.02 a min per call so I never expected for this company to charge that much they told me that the company that they are collecting the money for is Legacy long distance collect calls. I called my daughter in Australia and I paid $0.15 for 3 minutes but this company is charging from the USA to Canada 2.00 per minute for me at this time it is robbery and should not be allow for them to get a way with this. I though that it was going to cost me about $50.00 but not more.
Can you help me resolve this challenge?
