Beware... On July 19th my mother accepted a collect call from my son in the same city. He was simply in a dead zone and couldnt use his cell phone. When my mom received her bill... She was charge $16.25 for 5 minutes for that call from LEGACY LD INTERNATIONAL INC.
I called the company as these charges were simply outrageous and the call lasted at the most for 1 minute. AT&T her service providers were unable to assist as this was third party billing. I called Legacy and was simply told that they automatically "round out" the minutes and the charges were correct.
They were also unwilling to compromise as I stated we did owe for the collect call and would be glad to pay normal rates for it. Even $2.00 per minute. But the $3.25 was unrealistic... No luck. They dont care. PLEASE note these charges were NOT listed on the phone either to indicate how much a collect call would be! Beware!!!
