Nicholas' battery died on his 13' Fat Bob, and he contacted RA to get his bike towed. They directed him to Goode Towing in Killeen, TX. They picked up his Fat Bob about 1.5 hours later and Nicholas (and the towing rep) pushed his bike up onto the ramp per rep instructions. Nicholas said "shouldn't we wench the bike up" and the rep stated "No, I’ve done it this way before (ratched strapped). Rep had Nicholas step on the brake and the rep pulled his bike over and even though Nicholas was stating to stop pushing it, the rep pushed the bike ontop of Nicholas and Nicholas and bike fell off of the truck (Bike landed partially on Nicholas). Nicholas is now bruised. Rep from Goode Towing stated "Don't worry I'll pay for it". Nicholas stated "we need to wench it" rep FINALLY listened to Nicholas. Rep was trying to "save time" by not wrenching it at first.By wrenching it, it was very easily and smoothly braced on truck. Nicholas had to hold bike up while this was happening, even after Nicholas was bruised. Rep should've been able to take care of it on his own. Nicholas is the CUSTOMER not the EMPLOYEE. Was NOT strapped down efficiently or properly, his work was POOR - resulting in the bike being even more damaged. Goode Towing will not tell Nicholas' insurance company what insurance company they use because "the employee has to pay for everything" so they are trying to make Nicholas feel guilty. Goode Towing will not accept Nicholas' estimate of $3100. Nicholas is upset that Goode Towing is trying to find the cheapest parts and that they are trying to make Nicholas feel guilty by saying that the employee is going to have to pay for the damages. He is upset that the towing company wants Nicholas' to go to multiple places to find estimates to fix his bike. He is wasting money bc they are making him drive everywhere to get his bike part estimates. Nicholas just wants to be aware to NOT use Goode Towing.
