I'm a single mother of 5 children, who unfortunately was taken ill after the second day I started working for this company. Upon me being in the hospital for some time, I tried to contact the manager that hired me numerous times to first apologize for the unconvinced my illness may have caused. I also Of course wanted to know when I would receive my check for the two days I worked, much needed having children. After weeks of no messages and no return call, I finally spoke to the manager and she was VERY rude and irritate told me she decided I wasn't going to get paid because I didn't show up for work. Also saying its not her problem take it up with the owner and then she hung up the phone on me. Okay so I worked on my knees cleaning bathrooms, making beds scrubbing floors for free? The pay was degrading but I'm a mother and needed a job. Sounds like slavery to me
