Paid my taxes through 1040.com. Three months later we are still receiving bills from the IRS. I contacted the IRS and they have not record of any transaction and cannot trace any payments made to Pay1040.com. I contacted Pay1040. Cam at 1-888-658-5465 and was told that a payment was received by me (duh) and that my information was going to be sent to an individual in the back room that investigates these types of claims. Supposedly it will take at least 10 days to finish the paperwork for the claim and that the IRS will be contacted. I was also told to call "The IRS" at 1800-829-1040 but this number is actually another phone number belonging to pay1040.com.
Do not trust these crooks
