I was contacted at work by Fundamental Consumer Strategies some time Late October with the opertunity to apply for a Credit card. They specified that I would be Charged a one time fee of 299.00 which would be taken out of my account on November 12. After that i would receive a credit card 4 - 6 weeks after the date of the telephone conversation. I was hesitant at first, but the sales person reassured me that this was a good way of resolving credit issues - and i bought it.

I then called on Dec 12 To find out the status of my credit card. They told me that it should be expected in 4 - 6 weeks, and they played back the recording of my conversation with the sale rep. So, I thought i should wait 6 weeks.

I called back on Dec 22 and someone answered and said they had an incomplete address for me, so i gave them my address again. They then promised to 'Rush mail" it to me. I still have not received my credit card.

I called back on the 28th of December and I got a recording saying that the office is closed for the holiday and would reopen on January 04. I've been calling the number constantly from january forth, and there is no answer.

I have to now prepare my self to tell my wife of the decision i've made and what took place, considering our already weak financial situation.
