No One Home

I live in the State of Tennessee and worked in N.C. For a few months. I had to file taxes with the state of N.C. My taxes were done on February 10th. I have been trying to get a hold of any person. I have been waiting 6 months and I hear "they are ahead of last years returns but cannot guarantee when it will be looked at".

I shouldn't have to pay taxes in a state I don't live in. I should be able to get the money from my refund before my kids retire!!!
