Received a letter in the mail from this company, stating that they were a collection agency and we owed money for a claim filed with Liberty Mutual Group. There was a claim number and date of loss from a year prior to the letter. The only identifying information in the letter was our name and address. No accident information. We do not have insurance with Liberty Mutual Group but we called them to ask about the letter. The case number is legitimate but there was no information tied to the case number to identify us with any purported accident. This is a phishing scam - there are two lines in the letter where we are supposed to enter our insurance company information, phone number, and policy number and send it back.
