This company called and convinced my Mother (who has dementia) that she had a security violation on her computer and that they needed to access her computer in order to fix the problem. They talked her into "buying" a 2-year security contract with them and walked her through how to gain remote access to her pc. They also had her go to her bank's website and access her bank accounts under the guise that they had deposited $1000 into her checking account. They charged her American Express card $329 for their services. My father finally realized what was happening and unplugged her computer before they could finish downloading their applications. Now, they call her everyday and we have to monitor the phone so that she doesn't talk to them.
