My husband and I attended a sales presentation for a vacation club which promised free round trip airfare and free 3 day 2 night hotel stay, 50% off rental car for listening to the presentation. At the end of the presentation we were given two cards to be mailed in to Oracle Travel Promotions, along with a processing fee of $70 for the airline tickets and $50 for the hotel stay. Then I received an Order Acknowledgement & Option Form, saying "because of feedback we have received... Giving you an opportunity to exchange this promotion for an upgrade to a "Class (A) promotion buy one get on Free Companion air. We declined this. They provide a list of restrictions for the original 2 r/t airline tickets promotion, which make the offer virtually worthless. If you do not respond, you are choosing to exchange your promotion, for another "$25 registration fee". These fees had to be paid by postal money order & sent in a certified letter. We have just rec'd the postal money order ck back saying the registration or planning form was not completely filled out. When call ing their 800 number you wait & then are sent to a voice mail for Wonderland Incentives. This is a MAJOR scam & I am trying to receive my initial chec payments back as they are for nothing.
