My husband and I attended a sales presentation for "Payless Vacations" which promised free round trip airfare and free 3 day 2 night hotel stay, 50% off rental car, and $50 travelocity certificate. At the end of the presentation we were given two cards to be mailed in to Oracle Travel Promotions, along with a processing fee of $70 for the airline tickets and $50 for the hotel stay. Then I received an Order Acknowledgement & Option Form, saying "because of feedback we have received... Giving you an opportunity to exchange this promotion for a Buy one get one Free Companion air Ticket". They provide a list of restrictions for the original 2 r/t airline tickets promotion, which make the offer virtually worthless. If you do not respond, you are choosing to exchange your promotion, for another "$25 registration fee". There's also a $9.95 ticketing fee for each ticket. There will still be additional taxes, surcharges, and fees when reservations are made. I have not yet received anything for the "free" ($50) hotel stay. There has been nothing more about the $50 Travelocity gift certificate.
