Vacation in rural WI - very little TV reception although we were told it would be excellent with Dish. It was not even watchable - called for service tech - none available until a week after vacation. Reasons provided? Dish informed that their techs. Have many different jobs w/in the company. I told them that Dish was a multi-million company & to increase their own profit, they must not hire enough people to service their clients, or, they must be pushing 3 or 4 jobs on 1 person which again means more profit for Dish & much less satisfaction for the client.in addition, Dish knows they have the rural people by the short hairs as they are almost the only providers in northern rural WI. We just learned that it would cost us $400 if we cancelled them - Why did we just learn this? I have no idea but we do not remember signing a contract-I have just requested a copy of this contract. Dish Network, to me, is just another example of corporate greed & is just as bad as government greed. But since many of our gov. Leaders sit on boards of these corporations, what could one expect?
