I was contacted by phone by financial freedom the first week of november. I was told that if i gave a deposit of $150 i would recieve a visa with a $1500 credit limit. I was told that i would recieve payment certificates in the amount of the $150 i had paid them and when i got my first bill i could use these certificates as payment. I was also told that the 150 would be deducted from my checking account on november 12th and that one month later I would have my visa.
It is january first and I still haven't recieved anything. I called them on december 21st and they passed me around to numerous "customer service" people. 2 men and a woman named jennifer. The men were very unprofesional calling me darling and such. They told me that I should have gotten some paper work that I needed to fill out and that along with the paper work I needed to send them a voided check.
It's now january 1st and I still haven't recieved the paper work they told me they would have out asap to me. This is obviously a total scam and rip off.
Don't be fooled by these people. It sounds great and to people who are trying to clean up their credit it's especially appealing. Don't fall for it. I will be calling my bank tomorrow to try and at least get back my $150 that was stollen from me. I'm really angry about this and wonder if enough people got together legal action could be taken!!!
