Craigslist Auto Service Mobile Mechanic. On June 26 Shawn Spencer came to my house to do a brake job on my 1999 Tahoe. We went to parts store and I bought brake pads. We came back and he started work. I went into the house. Then after while he called me outside and told me that everything went well until he got to the back left wheel. He told me that he would have to purchase some parts from a junk yard near his house. He asked for money for the parts, and I paid him 90.00 for his labor, and 140.00 for the parts. He gave me a receipt for the parts. He told me that he would be coming back the next day to fix the car. He has not come back as of yet. I thought that he had put the brake pads on the car until I looked into the back and saw the brake pads still in the boxes.
Shawn did work for me before around May and did a good job, no problem. Don't use this guy unless you are prepared to get scammed.
