I had a process taking 100% of the CPU and looked up programs that would fix it. The process is wmiprvse. Exe and when I did a search on how to correct it, it pulled up the program from SafeCart and said the computer would run 95% better after running their program. But their program cost $39.94, so I purchased it and ran it. BUT, nothing happened to wmiprvse running at over 50% capacity (100% cpu). When I called back I was told my computer needed a tune up at $200. At that point in the scam, I told the man on the phone I wanted my money back. He never stopped talking and I had to hang up.
