This started as a $42.70 charge on 3-14 and I had no idea what dritrend micro was, and called the credit card company. It was something I had not ordered nor authorized, never had, never received and never used. They took the charge off - then came back and put it on as they - dirtrend micro evidently had my credit card # and address and telephone #. I still disputed it and refused to pay for a scam. They kept adding finance charges on to a sum of now $238.70 and have turned over to numerous collection agencies. I contact them immediately and explain I have an excellent - high credit rating, I pay my bill on time, but out of principal I still refuse to pay for a scam. I could have paid for that right away - but why should I pay for something I didn't order or authorize and pay for a scam. Could you please tell me how to go about getting this off my credit record and quit the credit collections every few months?
