On about June 18 I was offered a free gift for completing a survey after visiting CostCo.com. (from a pop-up window, which I now don't believe had any affiliation with CostCo.) NoFlame E-Cigarette starter kit was what I chose. All it said was to pay the S&H of $4.95 via credit card and that it was a $99 value. I received the e-cig kit within a week, which was nice for $4.95. Last night a charge for $109.67 appears from ESIGS, Miami Beach, FL 866-830-2552. Their website is www.ECIGNOFLAME.com. Nowhere was there any mention, nor did I accept any invitation to join a "club" or agree to purchase any other products. I called the number on the package for customer service 1-877-647-3625 several times and always get a machine answer and put on hold, never to be answered (waited 8 min.).
I tried to cancel the charge on my credit card, it is still pending, and was told the only thing I can do is cancel the whole card after the charge goes thru and only the company (esigs) can remove the charge. What a bunch of nonsense! I will write to [email protected] with my complaint and also Costco and let them know. I doubt I will get a refund.
