I agreed to pay $1.00 for copies of my credit report. I DID NOT KNOW I WAS signing up for a membership of any kind. When the email came, I called on 6/11 and told her to cancel. She said she would asked for it. I received 3 emails from Score Sense that my refund was being processed. I thought that meant that the refund was in process. Today, I learned that I was denied my cancellation request. Well, I believed that when I got emails that said your "refund was being processed" that it was that my refund was really coming. WHAT I NOW KNOW WAS THAT THEY WERE STALLING ME TO MOVE PAST THE DEADLINE WITH NO INTENT TO REFUND, BUT TO TELL ME AFTER THE 30 DAY DATE THAT IT HAD BEEN DENIED.
If my refund is not processed back into my bank account in 5 business days, i shall file a complete with the ftc and call my congressman about this. This was purely a contact to deceive me until after the 30 days had expired.
