I called on yahoo number and some one from india answered the call, i asked is it yahoo and he said yes we are yahoo email support team. I told them that my yahoo id is not working as i am unable to log in to my account. He took my email address, contact number, and for verification he asked my date of birth.
And then he said my yahoo account is been compromised some one from a different country or states is using my yahoo account and trying to do some kind of fraud.
Then he took access to my computer and showed me all the problems, and asked me to hire a technician as it can only be fixed online.
I gave them my card numbers and all the information they want and then they charged me $299.99 for 1 year of support.
I spoke to one of my friend who is with microsoft he check the company and verified www.gth.Us.com is a scam because the same company has another website which is www.gth.com. Also confirmed that great tech help was global tech help before and they scammed so many people in states thats why they changed the company name to continue scamming.
I claim that these kind of scamming business to be closed, I will report to higher authorities and make sure it comes to an end.
I called my credit company to cancel the transaction and also blocked my card, changed my bank account details aswell. And changed my yahoo account too.
