Wired $4424.00 to Roman for the sale of Samsung TV and a Pioneer AV receiver. I was originally told he had a couple tv's in stock and was holding one for me. He first was hesitant to sell me the Pioneer. He said he wasn't an authorized dealer. Then, in the same conversation, said on second thought, "I know I can get it for you". Just like all of the other complaints, I've never received either product. However, after I explained to him my legal background, on 5/16 he refunded $1725.00, the amount paid for the Pioneer unit.
Also, similar to other stories, he was supposed to upgrade me to the newer, better Samsung TV. To date, all I have to show is about 70 emails back and forth and a million lame promises and excuses.
I am totally frustrated (and embarrassed) that I fell for this scammer because of my legal background.
One of my stops for reporting this guy will be to IRS as they want their share of the pie regardless how his money was procured. This guy deserves jail time.
